Spokesperson: Nestle to optimize Nespresso stores in Russia

MOSCOW, Dec 21 (PRIME) -- Switzerland's Nestle is to optimize the structure of its outlets selling the Nespresso coffee capsules in Russia, a spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday.

"Imports of the Nespresso products as well as operations of Nespresso boutiques on the Russian market are still suspended. In this context, we are optimizing the current structure of the boutiques," the official said.

Business daily Vedomosti reported that Nestle would shut Russian Nespresso stores down and was in negotiations to terminate the rent deals.
